Artificial General Intelligence for Society

Speaker: Tianming Liu

Date: Feb 21, 11:45am-12:45pm

Abstract: Multimodal large language models (LLMs), foundation models (FMs), and generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) have transformed many domains of our society. Given their very fast pace of advancement, it is expected that artificial general intelligence (AGI) will come in a few years. This talk will present our endeavors in technical contributions to AGI and its wide range of innovative applications in science, engineering, healthcare, agriculture, education, and humanities. It is envisioned that human-AGI collaboration will reshape and redefine our society.
