Abstract: What happens when machines become creative? How did creative machines evolve from their beginnings in academia to their industry proliferation? While this shift has sparked excitement, it has also introduced significant challenges, from copyright disputes to the spread of misinformation. What lies at the core of genera tive AI’s darker side, and how can we turn the tide? In this talk, we will explo re how we can build creative machines that not only mitigate harm but elevate humanity, offering a vision for a future where AI becomes a true partner in human progress.
