This directory contains copies of files that may be of use to you for this course. These are files that I downloaded from sites on the Web where they were posted with permission for free copying for either public or educational use. The copies here are provided to conserve network bandwidth and to eliminate the risk of students downloading a version that is older or newer than that which the rest of the class is using. They are in the password-protected area because I was not easily able to determine whether the owners intended to limit public distribution points to their own sites.
