The following are materials that I used during my period of service as program officer for the National Science Foundation, in the Computer Systems Research Division of the Directorate for Computer Science and Engineering. They are posted here as a resource for those who aspire to NSF research funding. They are not official NSF documents. The views expressed are not necessarily shared by the NSF or everyone who works there. Also beware that NSF policies and practices change, so some of the information may be out of date.
